The Lange Code 120 BOA LV GW Ski Boots represent an evolution of Lange's hybrid XT3 design, delivering improved downhill performance with a seriously capable walk mode. The line features a completely overhauled walk mode designed for greater strength and performance. Active Blade technology uses an internal spoiler to maintain a fixed-cuff feel and powerful energy transmission while skiing, then pairs with an elastomer insert at the shell connection for a progressive, natural flex on the way up — a first-of-its-kind combination in a hybrid boot. The Friction Free Hinge improves efficiency for fluid movement on the skintrack, and the BOA® fit lower shell dials in precision closure without fumbling with buckles at the trailhead. An outstanding option for skiers needing a versatile, low volume freeride boot in a capable 120 flex.

Liner:
Core Custom 2: 100% customizable liner with three high-density foams integrated in key fit zones and a Reactive Boost Tongue for maximum personalization, performance and support.
Shell Materials:
Dual Core Technology: A new "Power Injection" method allows Lange to inject two different durometers of plastic simultaneously through 5 injection ports, with the two plastics being directed to specific parts of the boot. The harder plastic goes to the heel, spine and lower shell to retain stiffness, while the softer plastic goes to areas that wrap the foot and lower leg for comfort.
Ski/Walk Mode:
Active Blade: Walk mechanism integrated to ensure both touring and downhill performance. Allows smoother mobility when walking, alongside the bombproof traditional feel of an overlapped spine when skiing.
Friction Free Hinge: Lange's FRICTION FREE HINGE delivers a critical free-touring solution: ROM efficiency. More efficient range-of-motion (ROM) provides the freedom for fluid, natural movements on the ascent, providing more flow for a more effortless, less fatiguing skinning and hiking stride.
