From Drop-Off to Ride Ready

Step 1 – Pre-Pay & Drop Off

Pre-pay online and select “In Store Pick Up” at checkout. Then bring your skis to Mountain Cultures for drop-off.

Step 2 – Full Base & Edge Restoration

We begin with structural correction:

  • Base repair for damaged areas

  • Base grind to restore flatness

  • Stone grind to rebuild proper base structure

  • Precision edge sharpening for clean, confident bite

This stage resets your skis from the ground up. A properly ground and structured base improves glide, tracking, and control, especially in mixed snow conditions.

Edges are sharpened to restore reliable grip on firm snow and hardpack.

Step 3 – Premium Swix F4 Finish

We complete the process with an iron-applied, brushed, and textured Swix F4 Universal high-quality water-repellant wax.

This premium wax enhances glide, improves moisture resistance, and provides longer-lasting performance compared to a standard hot wax. The result is a ski that feels smooth, fast, and consistent from first chair to last run.
